Isn't she a beauty? Last week when I was home at my parents' house I had to escape sorting through those boxes a few times to capture some fun pictures of the horses that roam behind their house. Friends of the family have their horses there, and everyone enjoys watching them as they dance in the field and traipse about. I always wanted a horse growing up and used to enjoy riding all along. And, now, well, I am mesmerized by their beauty in such a new way when I am behind my camera, and I had a wonderful time trying to capture a bit of that. I got lots of great shots and will be sharing them with you all along so if you are a horse fan you will enjoy them just as much as I enjoyed taking them! I am still trying to catch up on things and have been busy scooting here and there trying to get lots of errands done. I just couldn't resist buying a few flowers and herbs while out and about. Now, I just have to find time to plant all of them! Have you been planting flowers? What are your favorites? I love purslane, as you may remember me mentioning here on the blog before. But, I have yet to find any. I'm on the lookout though! And, I really became interested in using fresh herbs in tea and cooking while living in Kuwait so I decided to buy a few herbs, as well. My basil plants really did great while in Virginia so I am hoping for the same results here! I'll keep you posted~
I am going to be sharing some of my favorite designs with you each week. I thought this would be a fun way for you to see some of my different signature items, as I know it is sometimes difficult to find the time to peruse through all of my online shoppe. Today I have chosen the "Sweet Cherry Blossoms" pendant. I have been missing getting to see all those beautiful cherry blossoms in Virginia and DC, but I have been happy to see a few around here, too. They always make me smile!
Hope you're having a day that is making you SMILE!
